2017 ULTIMATE Nerd Calendar (MOVIES)

Last year was a big one for the Sci-Fi and Fantasy genre. In fact, out of the 15 biggest box office grosses, 9 are Sci-Fi or Fantasy movies. Due to this huge success the entertainment industry has decided to continue delivering the nerd community what they crave and this year is about to be the richest year yet. Justice League vs. Suicide Squad #2 of 6 (Williamson, Fabok, and Sinclair)

So, if you remember my review last week, I wasn’t too thrilled with this one but wanted to see where it was going.  The second issue starts off just as “meh” as the first but things, well, they changed.  A LOT!  Remember, there are spoilers the further you go so, read at your own risk.

Justice League vs. Suicide Squad #1 of 6 (Williamson, Fabok, and Sinclair)

I’m not a huge DC Comics fan but when it comes to Suicide Squad, and especially Harley Quinn, I’m a sucker for pretty much whatever they can put out.  I do like Justice League, somewhat, but not as much as The Avengers.  However, seeing this I thought to myself “This should be interesting.  I gotta read this”.  This is a 6 issue series and if you’ve not been under a rock the past year you know who The Suicide Squad is.  As disappointing as the movie was, the comic book, isn’t quite as disappointing but so far, it’s still pretty bad.
